November 2012 Update:

UPDATED MATERIALS AND RESOURCES LOCATED AT http://www.symantec.com/connect/articles/getting-started-intel-vpro-technology

Links below have expired or material outdated\removed.   Please use the new link

The week before Vision, I quickly put together a 1.5 hour recorded training.   It was a zero-budget item... intended to provide a single source of the main items you need to know: what the technology can do, how it enhances Symantec CMS, how to configure, and quick reference to new capabilities like KVM remote control.

While presenting 2 sessions and labs - which often were at or over capacity - these DVDs were handed out.

I ran out of DVDs.... which is exciting for me, yet may have been disheartening for those that didn't receive one.

I'm working on getting the video segments posted online... if you would really prefer a DVD ISO, let me know (post to this blog)

Now that Vision is over - I am looking forward to posting some new material around KVM Remote Control (for those that missed it - we showed early code\demonstrations of this working with Real-Time System Manager... a lot of excitement by attendees).

If other topics\requests - please state.

working on it

A growing tasklist on my side has prevent posting of the materials online.   I still have the desire to get it posted - but may be delayed until later this year.

One reason for the delay is that I want to include some updates on recent capabilities introduced and supported by Altiris7 - such as KVM remote control.    I'm also working on a custom inventory update for Altiris 7 and AMTSCAN...

If there are others anxious for the training DVD - I'm interested to know if there are specific items you expect to be included.
