ManageFusion Las Vegas 09 - Day 1
It's the first day of the last ManageFusion! While I sort of expected attendance to be down both at the conference and in Las Vegas, it sure doesn't seem that way to me! Sessions are full and so are the blackjack tables!
The morning keynote was entertaining and informative as usual with Steve Morton taking on the Jay Leno duties. The big announcement of course was the general availability of CMS and SMS 7! I also really enjoyed seeing a video that Bob and I did a few years ago in Orlando. Good times.
With my role in managing User Groups, I'm on the lookout for the most compelling sessions to bring to User Groups across the country and provide sort of a "mini" ManageFusion for those who were not able to attend. There is tons to choose from!
Speaking of User Groups, for all those here in Vegas be sure to attend the User Group Challenge tomorrow from 5:30pm to 7:00pm in the Grand Ballroom! We have put together the most exciting competition to date along with the biggest and best prizes we've ever given!

Last ManageFusion
Ouch, I was able to attend MF08 in Orlando. Its sad to hear that this is the last one. Good times, good info. I guess the economy is hitting Symantec as well.
Just want to quickly clarify
Just want to quickly clarify my post about this being the last ManageFusion. This was the last conference officially called "ManageFusion". Next year it will be combined into the Symantec Vision conference. So it's not as if there will not be any more conferences. Just will be bigger and have a different name!
hope it is somewher other then vegas
I hate being in Vegas, in fact the only time I'm there is for Fusion.... Wish Vision was held someplace better then Vegas.
My favorite joke right now is: "Symantec No Vision Until 2010" :)
IT was a great time there, when Manage This was done playing we all hung out like it was camp ending and we didn't want to leave.
