More Opportunities for MSPs: Symantec and Level Platforms
You may have heard that Symantec is sponsoring Level Platforms Managed Workplace 2011 Road Show, taking place in 19 cities across North America beginning February 8. But how much do you know about Symantec’s partnership with Level Platforms?
Symantec and Level Platforms have teamed up to develop policy module for the management and monitoring of Backup Exec, Backup Exec System Recovery and Symantec Endpoint Protection in remote installations. This combination of the Backup Exec product family and Symantec Endpoint Protection the Level Platforms Managed Workplace solution represents a key opportunity for partners and managed service providers.
Security and backup and recovery services are a “can’t fail” category for Managed Services Providers. Now partners are better equipped to deliver Symantec’s market-leading security and backup and recovery solutions as services to their customers. This integration alleviates the costs associated with regular direct visits to customer environments and helps you reduce costs by managing multiple customer sites and infrastructures from a single, flexible management console.
Partners can perform remote Backup Exec monitoring, reporting, and even management directly from the Managed Workplace console. The Managed Workplace policy modules for Symantec Endpoint Protection also provide MSPs with insight into the performance of IT assets protected by Symantec Endpoint Protection. This means that MSP partners can remotely monitor and manage the health of security, backup and recovery processes, proactively respond to any problems that may arise, and regularly demonstrate the benefits of the backup and recovery services they offer to their customers.
We’ve been hearing loud and clear that our partners want more opportunities when it comes to delivering services to their customers.
