NetBackup 7.5.0.1 (NetBackup 7.5 Maintenance Release 1) is now available!
I'm very pleased to announce that the first Maintenance Release for NetBackup 7.5 is now available!
NetBackup 7.5.0.1 has been released in response to the feedback received during NetBackup 7.5 First Availability program. This release contains selective critical fixes to:
- Replication Director
- Catalog
- Virtualization
- Other critical miscellaneous fixes across NetBackup product
NetBackup 7.5.0.1 contains resolutions from over 40 Etracks, including content of several EEB (emergency engineering binary) bundles.

This is a MAINTENANCE Release (as opposed to a Release Update) - it can ONLY be applied on top of NetBackup 7.5. (If you are currently running 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.1, or 7.1.0.x, you will need to upgrade to 7.5 before you can apply 7.5.0.1.)

When will the software on 5200 appliance be updated to reflect 7.5 (or better yet 7.5.0.1)? Is there a place announcements like that are made? Is there a notification list?

Just so that you are aware, the latest update packages available are still based on 7.1.x - but packages based on 7.5 shouldn't be too far off...
