Train. Certify. Succeed!

Today, at the RSA Conference in San Francisco, California, Symantec Education Services announced a partnership with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) to offer cloud security training and certification to our valued customers and partners.

Only 1-in-4 organizations have staff with any experience in the cloud, according to research from Symantec. Furthermore, half of security leaders rated their IT staff less than somewhat prepared or completely unprepared for the cloud. Cloud security needs leadership and to standardize training and skills that fill this gap, so organizations can seize on the opportunities that cloud presents.

Why cloud certification?

  • Validate technical credibility and industry knowledge
  • Increase industry recognition and career advancement
  • Gain real-world experience securing the cloud
  • Leverage your investment in Symantec technology to the fullest
  • Get industry-recognized training from the leaders in cloud security

This three-day classroom-based course teaches a thorough overview of cloud computing with a focus on cloud security fundamentals and includes hands-on lab work. This instructor-led course covers the 13 domains of cloud security outlined by the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and demonstrates the implementation of Symantec products to secure confidential data in the cloud.  The program is designed to prepare IT security professionals to take the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) exam as well as the Symantec™ Certified Professional (SCP) exam in Cloud Security.

"The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) believes in the importance of having standards and best practices governing cloud security, and that is why we are pleased to partner with Symantec to deliver training for the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) exam," said Jim Reavis, Executive Director, CSA. "This partnership will give IT Security Professionals the knowledge and hands-on experience they need to effectively protect their companies' data in the cloud."

Three out of every four IT Security professionals are looking for training on cloud technologies and security.  Visit the training website for details.
