We're on the verge of the most significant development in SSL since the origin of the technology ten years ago. I'm not speaking in hyperbole, either. 2006 will see the widespread adoption of a brand new kind of SSL Certificate. And those among us who download and install the latest browsers will learn to look at SSL-protected Web pages in a whole new way.

Hi,

The Extended Validation SSL is more secure that the old Organization validated certificates?

Thanks for all information in this post.

They are more secure in a very specific way. Extended Validation SSL Certificates are trusted by the browser manufacturers to contain authentic information about the business in question. Therefore the browser manufacturers feel comfortable displaying this information in a highly visible way, along with the highly trusted green address bar.
