Thanks for the feedback Ian, I like your idea but I guess I'd formulate it differently (being employeed by Symantec) but It would be funny to see some post go Viral here Connect :D.

I am currently off-net, on a retreat of some kind. I'll be back real soon, and you sure will hear from me then ;-).

I probably didnt help by bumping your post count on version one with my incredibly late suggestions for improvements you already coded. Perhaps a name change to Free Beer v2 would work better? It would make your /dryrun switch so much more accurate!

I could ask you in person but for the sake of the search...does this work on 7.0?

I haven't tried on 7.0 and would not encourage anyone to use that version - thus even if it worked, I probably wouldn't advertise it.

That said I may check for the fun of it ;).

Regarding the name change, you'll have to push it thru the feature request process (aka the blackhole). Who knows, may be it'll be implemented some days ;).

Dear Ludovic,

We are using ZeroDaypatch-v0.7.0 and using commandline C:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\Bin>ZeroDayPatch.exe /released-after=2010-01-01.

Policy are created on server but we found that policy are geting assine but they all show update shedule.if we apply it by sheduling in console as run as soon as posible then patch gets installed secussefully.

Can you tell me how can I apply runoption to all policy created using commandline.

Regards,

Sudarshan Patil
