Web hosting provider Hostway has a library of fundamental articles for ecommerce sites. A recent addition to the list is an article related to shopping cart abandonment and how to prevent it with effective trust marks like the VeriSign seal. They quote a National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) study that found when consumers abandon their online shopping process 63 percent of the time due to concerns about security.
