Thanks!

@thatdude:  SPC 1.0 is still included as a part of SEP 12.1.  As far as I know, there is no way to change the link on the SEP 12.1 Web Access splash page.

The iPad app will be released later this year.  Stay tuned for details as they become available.  Web Gateway is currently not integrated, but plans are in the works for integrating it.

When will the ipad app be released? Is Symantec Web Gateway currently integrated into SPC 2.0? I didn't see it in the final RC that I was testing.

If you have a Beta version of SPC (not build 2.0.419) then you will need to reinstall SPC using the GA version that is availablie on FileConnect as instructed above.

I've upgraded my licences and everything is viewable now =)
Good to hear i don't need to update! Let's see how fast SPC will grow...

How can we update the Symantec Endpoint Protection pages SPC version 1.0 link to point to the SPC 2.0?

My appologies for not including this earlier.

The Symantec Protection Center 2.0 download is not on the initial landing page. On the fileconnect page you simply need to select one of the language versions, for example International English, and then you will see the SPC 2.0 download. In this case the file name is: Symantec_Protection_Center_2.0_ML.zip.

Greetings Martin!

The last version from SymBeta (2.0.0.419) was the Release Candidate 1 build, and yes, that is the same build that was released.

This means that anyone with the 2.0.0.419 build installed will NOT have to reinstall again, unless they want to move it to another piece of hardware, or environment. Rather than reinstalling they could try to do a backup and restore using the Symantec System Recovery (SSR) backup software. We have SSR 2011 included with SPC 2.0. And of course, only production quality systems should be used in the production environment.

The SPC 2.0 download is available currently on the fileconnect site with the supported products, and not as a standalone download.

You can currently use your serial number from any of the latest versions of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) 12.1, Control Compliance Suite (CCS) 10.5.1, Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition (SPS EE) 4.x, or SPS EE for Gateway 4.0 to download the SPC 2.0 ISO. It is zipped up and will need to be extracted, and then burned to a DVD.

I would look for Symantec Messaging Gateway (SMG) 9.5 and Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange (SMSMSE) 6.5.5 to be released on fileconnect in the near future.

During initial setup it is advised to make sure all of the LiveUpdates have been downloaded and installed, as we have released LiveUpdates to update EULA's and other information for several of the products.

Thank you
