Quality isn't just about 'defects'

In my experience when talking about Enterprise Vault quality it's unfortunately always about defects. I manage several EV environments deployed by different people but all of then have availability problems much more often than I would like to.

The most sad point is that root cause of the problems usually can't be found neither by searching Symantec KB nor by Symantec support and it ends up with reinstalling EV and problem reoccurrence in the future.

Only thing, which so far makes me choose EV as archiving solution is the fact other similar products are even worse. But everything changes and this can change as well.
