RDeploy Image Conversion
As we all know RDeploy gives us the function to convert an already caputered image.img file to image.exe file.
Recently I created a DVD bootdisk with the image spanned over multiple DVD's. I had an .img image that I used in the process.
The WinPE booted fine, but then prompted me to enter the last disk the whole time, even if I did enter the last disk, nothing happened. I then proceeded to load RDeploy in the GUI mode and browse to the image location, cool I found it, but was unable to load it as RDeploy said it cannot access that image file. Bummer....
So then I converted that same .img file to an .exe file on the DS in "Image Explorer", went through the same process and the same end result.
We then thought that the conversion process might have corrupted some files or not properly converted the .img to .exe.
Solution:
We launched RDeploy from the client computer and selected to capture an .exe image with spanning and indexing enabled to locate the other image.exe files. The direct capture of the image to the .exe format resolved the issue of the WinPE asking for the last disk. Instead it asked for the first disk, loaded it and then proceeded to ask for the second disk.

You can also use the -makeimx switch to create a .imx file that you can place with the .img file so that you will not be prompted for the last disk.
-makeimx via Image Explorer
Another way to create the image index is via the Image Explorer. This is under the File Menu.

RE: -makeimx via Image Explorer
Now that you mention it, that is actually the easier way to go.
