Today Symantec announced a definitive agreement to acquire Nukona. Both Jeff Enderwick (co-founder) and I wrestled with this decision, but ultimately it just made too much sense; not just for Nukona but for the industry as a whole.
We started the company in mid-2010, barely three months after the original iPad was launched. Now tens of millions are in use in enterprises and that will very soon become hundreds of millions. With the BYOD trend accelerating rapidly thanks to the capabilities offered by the latest tablets and smartphones, a massive change in corporate computing is well under way.
