I'm in customer meetings today so this is just a very quick post to let you know that Symantec Brightmail Gateway 8.0 will be available via software update sometime after 9am PST today, March 4th 2009.
This release is pretty amazing on many fronts, from our biggest ever Beta program (thanks participants!) to the awesome performance increases and anti-spam upgrades mentioned in the articles below:

I forgot to follow up but it's out and available on Fileconnect.
Looks like it will be up there around Monday 16th or Tuesday 17th March.
Yeh, so we make the update available via the online update repository first then it takes a short while to get all the other locations up to speed. This includes the OS Restore ISO image on fileconnect.symantec.com.
I don't have the actual timescale to hand but it won't be long :)
Software update is here -- nice! When can we expect to see the full installers on fileconnect?
