Symantec Connect Goes Mobile
Introducing Symantec Connect for Your Mobile Device
Symantec Connect users have been requesting better mobile accessibility to Connect, and we’re excited to announce that we’ve recently launched the Connect mobile site. This site has been designed to allow users worldwide to access all of the great content on Connect when they are away from their computer!
Users can browse forums, blogs and articles; view videos; and search for specific topics. In addition, users can participate on Connect by making comments on content, uploading their own blog entry, idea, or forum discussion topic--all from a simplified and streamlined interface.
You can experience Connect mobile for yourself simply by accessing Symantec Connect from your mobile device. Connect automatically identifies the device you’re using and serves you the mobile site. The mobile site developers worked tirelessly to ensure the best browsing experience possible.

Leslie,
First off, thanks to Kevin M. all the developers that made this possible! A few nits to pick after using the site for a while from my Android 2.2 phone:
I'll post back as I explore more and find more little things.
Thanks,

The Rewards redemption was out of scope for this first version. I'll add your suggestion to "wish list" for the next release.
I'm actually glad that it's a mobile site as opposed to an App, much easier to access across types of devices! I'm excited to see future versions of the site as more time is applied to it. Connect is an integral part of my day to day function, so to be able to check it whenever I'm able is great!
i've been using it quite a bit, but i keep switching back to the main desktop page instead
the biggest issue i have is that it shows the most recently submitted threads, as opposed to the ones with recent activity, also it'd be nice if it could notify you of messages, instead of having to go the account page
I've heard about the issue with the sort order.
I'll make sure a bug is submitted for it.
Kevin
or do I have to go from the browser (iPhone 4s)

I received no response to my post in the Connect forum: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/con... , so I posted it as Idea: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/ideas/conn...

Glad that connect goes to mobile. I would suggest bringing some short of text message interaction to avoid those costly data charges (similar to yahoo messenger)
Its a great experience to have it on mobile.. please add it to app store ...
No support for BB? I'm trying to look for Symantec Connect in BB App world.. NO link :(
The link is the same for all mobile browsers: www.symantec.com/connect.
I think that Symantec Connect is coded in HTML5 so runs in all mobile browsers (iOS, Android and BlackBerry).
See http://www.symantec.com/connect/blogs/connect-mobi...
I submitted this idea about the mobile site and would appreciate the community's feedback. https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/ideas/mobi...

...I've honestly given up! Got the Blackberry Bold 9900 and can't log onto the site at all...is this a BB compatibility issue?
Will have to wait till I get a tab...maybe that will take care of it so I don't have to boot up my laptop at home etc.
If you find this is a solution, please mark it as such.
It cannot login with BB, it shows 403 error.
Cheers!
Pete

Any way to add support for Atomic Web Browser. It shows up as the full website. Safari works fine.
Interesting. We tested with the Atomic Lite browser and the mobile site appears. You can send me a PM with more details of your device, etc. and we can see if we can determine the problem.
I am using Connect Mobile on my 2-year old BB Bold 9700, OS 6.0.
WORKS GREAT! Feeding my addiction...
