Define "other security content"

It is very cool!
Please, answer some more questions about this product:
1) Can you refine the sentence "other security content"? Can SEP Integration Component completely replace LUA?
2) Is there any guide how to update AV definitions, IDS/IPS signatures, PTP signatures on SEP clients on automatic way? There is one on www.altiris.com/upload/sepintegrationhelp.pdf but it is very pure.
3) Can we configure clients to update defs from Symantec LUA when they are outside our company network (when we use Locaton Awareness)?
We want to completely uninstall LUA on our sites.

THX!

no one knows me, even I.

SEP content update with SEP Integration Component

  1. The SEP Integration Component does not replace LUA at this point, but calls the update API from the client which will update from SEPM or the internet based on how the client is configured
  2. The documentation refers to the call in item 1.
  3. I believe you can configure clients to pull from LiveUpdate directly when they are outside of the network.

Updating content via the Symantec Management Platform is under consideration for a future release.
