We are pleased to announce the launch of Social @Symantec on Symantec.com. Launched last week, this site serves as our new social media hub for all things social at Symantec.
Social @Symantec is designed to provide a single aggregated view of Symantec’s social media channels and make it easier for our users to connect directly with Symantec. While it does not replace existing channels users may be navigating to directly, the hub is a one-stop site that enables users to get an overview of our social media footprint, navigate to our social channels, and engage with us on the social web. Users can explore and access our blogs, forums, videos, podcasts, social networks, and communities. The content on the page is dynamically streamed – from Symantec blogs and forums, as well as Twitter and Facebook – keeping the conversation current. At any time, users can visit this site to see what’s being discussed on the social web related to Symantec.
The Social @Symantec hub also provides a gateway to a newly created page called Mobile, which provides users with a catalog of our mobile websites and mobile applications across the company – making it even easier for them to connect with Symantec while on-the-go. Users are able to view a listing of all our mobile apps, the mobile platforms they are available on, and download them to their mobile devices.
