Symantec Enterprise Support Services just took home the 2008 Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) Service Excellence STAR award. Symantec was recognized by the SSPA, an influential industry association for technology service and support professionals, for its exceptional support partner management capabilities. The award recognizes organizations that demonstrate an ongoing high-level commitment to delivering world-class software and technical support to its customers and partners. Symantec was judged by a panel of industry executives in nine different categories including partner training and certification, knowledge sharing, support infrastructure, performance metrics, customer impact, partner incentives, business drivers and creating a partner centric culture. This award marks Symantec’s fifth SSPA STAR award for service and support excellence. To recognize this milestone, the SSPA inducted Symantec into the SSPA STAR Awards Hall of Fame.
