Just another quick tip! We have several users in our environment who have the full boat of Adobe products. We put most of them in a layer and each was built by itself (individually) in a VM.

How often do you rebuild your "Packages" or Layers? I ask myself that question and I really do not have an answer.

When I am deploying a NEW Virtual Software Package, and I have it where I like it there are a few steps I do to "CLEAN-IT-UP" and prepare it for Distribution as a .VSA file through Altiris.

Q:
Tony asks: How are security rights set on folders conveyed when the VSP is distributed? Do the rights maintain the same structure that was given to them when the layer was captured? If I give a domain group say Full Control to a folder in that layer, does that convey through to the clients after activation?
