Fresh on the heels of last week's launch of new iPods, Circuit City is offering to help YOU get a new iPod!

How does it work?

  1. Bring your old iPod to the customer service desk.
  2. Circuit City will give you in-store credit based on the age & condition of your iPod.
  3. Use your credit immediately towards a new iPod or anything else in the store.

Editor's note: This is great news to anyone who wants to cash in some Juice points for a new iPod. Check with your local Circuit City for T&C first.

Trade In

I read that they were only doing this at a few select stores in Boston. Is this true from what everyone else is seeing?

I haven't had any problems

I haven't had any problems here in Virginia - but would definitely like to hear any feedback others are experiencing.

Interesting Tips in IT Security

Since I participate in several social networks professionally and personally, I have taken an interest in protecting the security of my computers.

Recently, I read an article that was supposed to offer various topics including:

  • DNS Threats
  • The Kaminsky Vulnerability
  • DNSSEC Deployment
  • Loading Balancing & DNSSEC
  • and more!

Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed by the selection....mainly because a free webcast was offered in place of the actual article.

There was no indication that  a user could reduce or minimize the risk and/or potential threat to security.

As I continued to read the document, I was very pleased to find an icon that provided insightful guidance.
