Altiris gets many support questions and queries such as Inventory data not being visible and SW Delivery jobs not getting deployed. A lot of the times the problem lies with licensing. If your licenses expire or you exceed the license count it can affect all tasks from running.

A simple solution is to enable the "Product License Count Notice" Notification Policy found under the Configuration > Server Settings > Notification Policies folder which will e-mail you and tell you that your licenses are a problem and will save you lots of time troubleshooting other areas.

Also, depending on how

Also, depending on how often you want to receive E-Mails, I would recommend either a Weekly or Monthly notification, rather than Daily. If daily, you'll most likely ignore it...

My Portal

I have the Solution Licenses setup in My Portal. That way it is always in front of me and I can keep an eye on it. But, I also have email notifications delivered.
