Very important changes in Windows 7 for autorun.

Finally Microsoft is changing one big disadvantage in Windows by default. Autorun will be disabled. No longer anoying screens that only can be disabled by clicking do this always.
Autorun on USB sticks will be disabled.

As some of our readers are well aware, Conficker and other malware is taking advantage of the AutoRun functionality as a spreading mechanism. Furthermore, over the last couple of months, there has been a significant increase of this threat, as more malware is abusing this functionality. Further information about this specific threat has been highlighted in the recent Security Intelligence Report (look for Win32/AutoRun) and the Microsoft Malware Protection Center (MMPC) blog.

Disabling Autorun in Windows 7 is really an improvement, the main fact is the huge increasing of malware that was using the autorun function as a method of propagation.

This is great new knowing that you would be more secured in terms of viruses and malwares. which might be on the flashdrive.
