Vision EMEA - My 15 Minutes of Fame

For my 15 minutes of fame, I chose the second day keynote at Vision 2011 in Barcelona to talk about Symantec’s enterprise mobility strategy and to demo Symantec Mobile Management.  As in the US, there is a huge interest and demand for a good solution to enabling mobile devices in the enterprise, and Symantec’s holistic approach of integrating management and security into the overall IT strategy seemed to be extremely well received by the people I had the opportunity to talk to individually.  The day 2 keynote (shown here) was my opportunity to reach the rest of the attendees with this message, and by the feedback, it appears they were not disappointed.  I must admit that their excitement most likely had more to do with our fantastic product and how it enables greater productivity while reducing cost and complexity than with my presence on stage or my jokes about Steve Morton’s weight.
