Voting on the Juice has Changed
In order to cast a vote that is valid, useful to the community, and to the content author you'll now need to open the article, read it (hopefully), and cast your vote at the end.
We've had to do this because of the feedback we've received from authors that within seconds of their contributions being posted, their article is receiving low or average votes. We believe this phenomenon can be attributed to "Drive-by-Voters" -- those who don't read an article before voting, but are simply voting to earn points.
We understand this may make it more difficult to cast votes (and earn points) but the true value of a rating system, as we're sure you'll all agree, is to let the community rank content and promote good solid contributions as information that you found useful and may be useful to other community members.
Thanks for your understanding.

how do i view the posts i've voted on then?
Made the comment to ohzone on the irc channel, but how do I know what posts I've voten on? Currenlty they don't show on page until I've opened up the articles. In order to see if I've voted, I'll have to open up each post and then see if I can vote again.
It also seems a little silly then when I read all the posts via RSS that I then can' just vote on a bunch after I've read through a feed?

and if we alredy speek on the vote system...
it will be great if the vote system will work in google's CHROME like in other browsers...
thanks!
Chrome is Still Beta
So wait until that is released properly, you'll see that adapting this site is not even necessary.
Btw, I vote for this action ;)

Crome uses webkit (safari)
Crome uses webkit (safari) so there should be no need to adapt for it unless Google does something to mess stuff up.

Voting on the Juice
First, I do agree that some members are going to be/or are drive by voters, that's a given. This setup will make it a bit more inconvenient for them but at the same time I think it makes it more time consuming for the actual readers also. In my case I usually review/read articles in the morning while I have coffee, not at work but at home. I have about 30 minutes to do this. I scan the postings I haven't previously looked at or read and seriously read the ones that interest me. I do vote on all I scan or read. In the past this has give me a kinda of bookmark where I left off. With the new system I don't have that luxury. The last couple days trying to figure out where I left off, and let's face it Monday mornings aren't easy anyway lol, took me longer then I would have preferred to figure out what were new postings. I understand why the rating method has changed but can there not be a way to mark what we previously read? Thanks, Sally
