Wake on LAN for Pocket PC
Updated: 31 Jul 2007 | 1 comment
Here's a nice Wake on LAN (WOL) utility that's designed specifically for a Windows Pocket PC. A lot of our building principles have PDAs and use them on the wireless network. It's nice to able to wake them up (the PDAs, that is) when they set the PDA down for a while and it goes to sleep. It makes it a lot easier to get a hold of it in Deployment Server.
It's still in beta, but it works pretty good. Sometimes it will give me an error, but most of the times I've used it, it has worked well.
This is a free utility that you can download from:

It could be also used this Internet tool to wake up remote computer over Internet: Online Wake-On-LAN - http://www.rshut.com/products/wol/?mobile
To use it open this link in your phone/PDA, fill MAC and IP, schedule time and date if necessary and click "Wake up!".
Also it could be created as a single click link in form: http://www.rshut.com/products/wol/?mobile=1...
