Welcome to the New Look of Connect

The Symantec Connect team has been working on a refresh of the Connect look and feel to align better with the new Symantec.com web site and to improve customer experience when crossing Symantec web properties. There are no functional or navigational changes to this refresh.
What’s New:
- Colors of navigation bars and links
- Colors of user badges
- New banner on home page
Thanks to Connect community members who assisted with review and testing.

Agreed! I like the new yellow theme, but the green was definitely a little weird at first. 10 posts later, I think I'm adjusting.

Do not know why but it did not appear that changing.

But it is really hard to tell which links where visited and which are new (dark green/light green). This makes it hard to find out what's new and what i already read.

Green seems harder on the eyes when looking at list of threads, at least in Chrome on my monitor.

The most helpful part of entire Symantec connect is the Search button..do use it.
The new color combiation is good, i use chrome browser with a grass theme, which makes tabs, title bar green color.
Now with new connect UI, the site seems to be integrated part of chrome, lol...

Looks good, but the green colour is disappointing.
Love the green! It's been the default font colour of mine since 1997.
Please make visited links easier to distinguish.
...looks very good. The other colours don't make much of a difference to me now as things currently stand.

hide NEW IDEAS option from connect
Hi,
Yes, It's Nice Look, but we request you just hide new IDEAS tab from connect, It should be visible only after Successful Login. Yes definitely it’s providing help to us for product improvement but it may be possibility of misused by competitor.

Nice look.
i seem to be having trouble viewing connect posts on my android phone (droid4, stock ICS, stock browser) compared to before. when i click a link in gmail it starts to act like it's loading the page, but just comes up with a gray background with a spinning circle in the center. It never goes any further. links from the same email work fine on my desktop in chrome, so it may be something mobile-specific. even requesting the desktop site in the stock ICS browser doesn't seem to work on the phone, but then again, it doesn't work for a lot of sites since they change the URL to a mobile-specific one once they detect a mobile browser (which is annoying - 99% of the time i don't want a crappy, severely limited mobile site. my phone has the bandwidth and screen real estate to handle the desktop site just fine, even with whiz-bang fly/fade menus all over the place.

... on my desktop, I get the mobile version automatically (Chrome version 23.0.1262.0 dev-m). With IE I get the desktop version, as should be.

two problems:
as i said before, the site just doesn't work anymore when using the stock android browser on my phone (droid 4, android 4.0.4). also tried chrome and dolphin browsers - all three just give me a gray screen with a spinning circle in the center - no menu bars or anything. completely unusable.
now, when i click links to the article in an email on my desktop pc (win7 64bit, chrome or IE8), it simply brings me to the top of the article, rather than to the new post - especially obvious in a big thread like this, but still annoying even in shorter threads, given the way a new reply might be in the middle of the page - it's not always at the bottom of the page. this alone makes the site much less usable than before.
