why 200 points instead of 1000 ?

I have posted an Article in "tell your story contest" whaich has 1000 points .but I got only 200 points for normal Article posting why this happened can I know?

Just write your story about
Just write your story about migration from another product and join the "tell your story contest" group and while posting select the check box "tell your story".
