I have recently purchased a server on which I installed windows 2008, exchange 2007 and backup exec 12.5d.

I have no problem backing up the stores with the GRT feature; however I cannot restore any individual emails which I previously backed up. The error message I get is
e000848c - Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again
I followed up the recommendations from the document 306281, no result.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi Craig,

Thank you for the link. However, I still cannot restore individual emails.
I created a test environment through VMWARE, in which I replaced the 2008 OS with a 2003 OS.
It worked, I was able to restore individual emails (GRT) having 2003 OS and exchange 2007 installed, but not 2008 OS and exchange 2007 installed.
I still have to simulate different scenarios; my main conclusion is that I should have used 2003 from the beginning ...

I have the same problem. Backup complete with error "e00084af - The directory or file was not found, or could not be accessed." And I cannot restore any individual emails too.
