Windows 7 release date wil be 23 October 2009

The release date of Windows 7 will be 23 of October 2009. This was told by the official spokesmen of Acer.
Acer has confirmed that Windows 7 will be available pre-loaded on their new all-in-one Z5600 PC from the 23 October 2009, not by the end of January 2010 as Microsoft has been previously suggesting.
Although some rumours have put the OS' release closer to the end of 2009, Microsoft has yet to officially confirm that the software will be launched sooner than the 3-years-after-Vista timescale.

Hardware requirements
Just an addition about the minimum and recommended hardware requirements for Windows 7 :
- 1GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 16GB of disk space (or 20GB for 64-bit users)
- DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
Hope to see if these requirements will be the same in the next months.
Not completely correct Riva
The minimum diskspace is 12 GB and the minimum memory size is 512.
If you have no DirectX graphics device there is an emulator in Windows 7. Not in the Beta but available in the Rc .
