@LeslieMiller : What you say

@LeslieMiller : What you say sounds a little contradictory to me with this poster  https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/groups/con... …….Your sticky is from 03rd August 2009 and the C&P for SEP had deadline of 31st July 2009……..Either of these needs some editing and clarification I guess..............

De facto when AV does something, it starts jumping up and down, waving its arms, and shouting "Hey!  I found a virus!  Look at me!  I'm soooo goooood!"

Very good point Adam.....That might be it..................But this is a little out of the way I think.............Cause all that you have to do is create a new account and participate...........In my opinion everyone should be given a chance to write it............Fair.

True....

I do personaly think that anyone can play, and you are right when you said if they want to play that badly, they would just make up a fake account. The public would just need to be told that it is not an in-house game, its a worldwide game, then that would stop people from thinking bad things.

@Adam

From outside we look at Symantec as one company..but we do forget there are diffrent deparments in Symantec..Every employee has his thoughts...
and there are always management and engineers...So its not that Management would do any thing like that...what sandeep meant was any employee can do so by creating a account and not declaring him a an employee..
