CA 10 Customer Database Sizing

Is there any sizing guide for CA 10 Customer Database? What should be the initial Data and Log file size and grown considerations over time?

Also what sort of permissions CA (VSA) needs in Customer Database please?

You don't need to assign the VSA any special permissions, by default it will be an application administrator.

As for the sizing, there are quite a few factors that will come into play.  Like how many departments\monitored employees, number of messages journaled daily, review percentages, number of daily searches, etc...

Your primary sizing is going to be for SQL databases, so if you look at the number of messages you would expect to capture for review and then times that by 1.5 KB you should get a pretty close number on how large you could expect your Customer Database to get.

So for example, you get 1,000,000 messages per day and plan to review(capture) 10%, that would put you at 100,000 reviewed per day would put you around 40 GB in databases for 1 year.  (I based a year as 260 working days and also rounded up)
