EV 6.0 SP1 for Exchange environment

We are looking to implement aging and we are trying to get an idea of what data is being pulled from the Vault on a daily basis. Is there any type of switch I can enable which would provide anything like this?

TIA

Are you referring to Storage Expiry? If you run a report against a mailbox/exchange server one of the columns is items ready for/ would be expired.

Also, after storage expiry runs it writes an Event to the application log if memory serves.

Not exactly. I'm looking to see how often archived items are accessed from the vault, who is accessing them, and the average age of those items.

It looks like some of these details can be found in the IIS logs, as well as the dtrace logs. From those, I can run some text utilities to extract the information I want, and then possibly import that into SQL for analysis. I was just wondering if there was an easier way, or if anyone in the forum has tackled a similar project.

Auditing can give you parts of that information, like who's accessing what and when. Derive your own information from that, possibly.
