Advanced Layer-Maker v1.2

Here's an advanced tool submitted by Thunder-man that gives you the ability to install software and import layers to any path or hard disk (among other things). [See release history for complete update details.]

Install Software and Import Layer to all Path / Hard disk (FileRedirect)

[ Install: *.exe *.bat *.msi *.jar Files ]

Description:

All Layer are installed / imported in the Default FileRedirect. ( e.g. c:\fslrdr\ )

With "Advanced Layer-Maker" we can select the FileRedirect Path. ( e.g. d:\fslrdr\ )

Already during the installation We can give "Layer comment" and change the uninstall display.

If a Layer start a service, this should not be finished with Force.

( But this service will not End. )

"Advanced Layer-Maker" gives a warning if a Layer begins a service.

With "Global capture" We can install several programs in one Layer.

How to use:

1. First run "Advanced Layer-Maker.exe"
   (Now we have a shortcut in "Sendto" Folder and on Desktop)
2. Start "Advanced Layer-Maker" by Sendto Menu
   Make entries and click the install / import ButtonReady

Install new Software / *.exe *.bat *.msi *.jar

Feature:

• Flashes tray icon (indicates the Capture or import process)
• Derives the new layer name from the *.exe File
• Global capture (Multi Program)

Install Option

• Layer Activate on Start
• Change the uninstall Display (under Software)
• Set Layer Comment
• deactivate Layer after capture. * Important * Only when you not run the Program after Install!
• Sublayer info after Install. (MsgBox)

Uninstall Display:

• The new Displayname is behind the original so that the display remains alphabetical.

• klick on Desktop Icon
• delete last Layer
• See Last SubLayer Info
• Global capture (Multi Program)
• Deactivate all Layer
• activate 'Autostart' Layer

Import:

right klick on a *.vsa File (sendTo)
