I hope this is helpful to someone. We had a large number of jobs where we had to go in and edit the job script to install things in different locations, or with different SQL instance names for example. This was quite time consuming, and created lots of duplicated effort, so I came up with the attached job scripts to enable the configuration to be made just to the job name. Creating a job called "SQL Install (INSTANCE1 D:)" for example, allows you to pass the "INSTANCE1" and "D:" as parameters within the job script itself, instead of editing the job script to include them.
