Altiris / Microsoft Error Codes and Descriptions
I have compiled a list of the most accurate error codes and descriptions both from the Altiris side as well as the Microsoft side. This had taken years of both Google searching as well as vendor communications to get it to be as accurate as possible. I am sure this could be of one of the greatest values to you, considering I use this multiple times a day!
The first attachment is for Altiris 6.X Error Codes, nicely categorized by sheets and the explanations and will cover the following:
DS Firm Errors
DS RapiDeploy Errors
DS PXE Errors
DS AClient Errors
DS RInstall Errors
DS PCT Wiz Errors
DS PCT Package Errors
The second attachment will be covering EVERYTHING else that you could possibly get an error code on. It consists of 49 pages and covers 0 through 14000+ error codes. This is a piece of work I had really put in a 10 year career effort into updating as the years go by so consider this a great document to get your hands on!!! At this point, it is up to over 20,000 words and counting =)
Let me know what you think and/or if you have anything you would like to add, questions or comments are always appreciated!
