Ever wanted a way to automate the download and creation of Patch Management bulletins? With the attached utility you can do just that.

I recommend creating a new empty Base Collection in the Patch Management > Configuration > Server Settings > Microsoft under the General tab before running this job.

After you have tested the patches in question you can then populate this empty collection with your production computers.

This is mainly intended for those that are setting up Patch Management for the first time and would prefer not to stage and create tasks for every individual patch manually. If you already have Patch Management running this may not be for you.

This will ONLY work in Patch Management 6.2.

NICE!!!

Nice Script. Saved me a lot of time with my NS Rebuild. Any chance of seeing the script able to set up the bulletins but leaving them disabled so they can be reviewed?

I realize having the Base Collection set to "EMPTY" alleviates the patches being deployed.
