Computername to Registry v1.0

Some programs need the name of the computer where it is installed to run. But the VSA is, in some cases, generated on another computer. Here is a little tool that can change that name for you.

This Computername to Registry tool makes it possible to write the computername of the computer where you install your VSA in the registry.

Just export the registry key where the computer name resides, copy that in the 'CompName2Reg.ini'
and replace the computername for the value 'COMPUTERNAME'.

Compname2Reg looks in CompName2Reg.ini for that value and replaces it for the computername of the computer where it is executed on, and then imports it in the registry.

If it is executed in the Runonce key of the VSA layer, it will be recorded in that layer.

Of course CompName2Reg assumes the user has registry edit permission.

Have Fun, Starf0x

PS, Look in CompName2Reg.ini for an example.
