Custom Multiple Monitor Inventory

Altiris' Hardware inventory reports back Monitors.  And if you've got more than one monitor sometimes you'll get two of those monitors. 

However that's not always the case.  And in an organization such as ours, where multiple monitors are so prolific many laptops have TWO external monitors attached to their docking station, this can be a management nightmare.  We've been using Connector Solution and articles detailed here on Connect to help us make sure that monitors are properly associated to their computers, but without accurately grabbing both monitors we're always just a little bit out of line.

Finally we discovered what seemed to be the cause.  Every time we had two monitors of the exact same Manufacturer and Model only the first serial number was reported back.  To resolve this issue we began to scour the internet.  Finally a co-worker of mine found a VB Script that would pull all monitors' EID information.  After taking that information and merging it with another VBscript based inventory I was able generate the appropriate .NSI file with all of the serial numbers attached.

I'm far from a master at VBscript so the code I'm posting today will probably be very ugly and inefficient.  However, I've seen multiple people post on this issue in the past, so I thought I'd better post this solution (maybe someone else can clean it up).  Right now I've set it up as an entirely self contained software rollout, but you might want to integrate this information into your inventory the appropriate way.
