Dia Virtual Software Package
"Dia is a GTK+ based diagram creation program for ... Windows released under the GPL license. ... It currently has special objects to help draw entity relationship diagrams, UML diagrams, flowcharts, network diagrams, and many other diagrams. It is also possible to add support for new shapes by writing simple XML files, using a subset of SVG to draw the shape." For more detail, documentation and support, see the Dia project site at http://live.gnome.org/Dia.
Try Dia now, virtually! Don't like it? Just deactivate and delete.
Dia is provided by Symantec in the .VRA ("Virtual Runtime Archive") format. Now anyone can use virtualized Dia permanently, even if you are a business that has not yet purchased SVS! If SVS is installed without a license key, it defaults to "runtime mode," which allows use of VRAs. Licensed SVS installations, of course, have full functionality and can also use VRAs.
Did you know that HP business desktops come with SVS Runtime pre-installed?

Configuration Notes
- The desktop and My Documents are excluded, which means data saved to these locations is not virtualized. If you save a file and want to ensure that it stays persistent on your machine after a reset of Dia, save it to one of these locations. For more information on how to keep data separate from virtual application layers, please read this article.
