The WinPE has a few of the Broadcom drivers, but does not possess the Broadcom Netlink drivers but there are computers that are in existence that use these network cards as well. This is not present in the default driver template of Windows PE. The attachment below contains a set of 2 different drivers based on the 'generation' they were used. There are the latest drivers and the older drivers. Machines that come out in the present would mostly use the Present Generation drivers. You could find out the drivers that suit you by checking out for the DEVICE ID of the NIC that is use on the client machine. The reason for using Vista drivers with Windows PE2.0 is primarily because it is based on the VISTA OS that is being used. Below are the instructions that need to be followed while adding them to the Boot Wizard:
1. Download the zip files and extract them 2. Open Ghost boot wizard, choose WinPE and click on Edit 3. Choose the template where you want the add the drivers 4. Click on Edit if you want to add the drivers to the existing template or click on Copy to create a new template 5. Click on Add new driver and click on Browse 6. Navigate to the driver folder which you have extracted in Step 1 7. Select the folder that you have extracted in Step 1. 8. Give a friendly name to it, for example Broadcom Netlink and under the Applicable OS section choose Vista 9. Click on OK 10. Scroll down the default drivers list to locate the friendly name you gave in Step 8 11. Select the driver by giving a check on the check box and click on OK 12. The drivers will be added to the template Please check the link given below that also has details for driver addition to the Windows PE boot package: http://service1.symantec.com/support/on-technology.nsf/854fa02b4f5013678825731a007d06af/e4c1aea6046866e288257444007f9333?OpenDocument
