Layer Path
Okay, you've fallen in love with SVS and everything it does to make life better. But ... you really like to use your computer's D: drive as your primary workspace. What's a self-respecting codejock to do?
Thunder-man has provided an answer with his Layer Path tool. It makes setting the path (on a new SVS install) a snap!
Here's How It Works
Follow these steps to modify the registry entry that stores the fslrdr location:
- Click "Info"
- Change Path
- Exit [X]
For Example
If you want to change the path from your C: drive to your F: drive, your screen would look like this:

Important!
You can only change the path on a new, clean install.
After installation and before you create / import any Layer packages,
you can use "Layer Path".
There are currently three known restrictions to changing the redirect area:
- The drive letter must be capitalized.
- There must be no spaces in the path.
- The drive must be a local drive, not a network drive.
