The Monthly State of Spam Report for April 2009

Hi Team,

After watching the security video on spamming on Symantec, it brought me to download the latest Monthly State of the Spam report from the Symantec site. Although McColo had already shutdown last November 2008, We still can feel the spam clogging our e-mails because the numbers jumped to 91% levels again. This is reported in detail on the report. 

It also included the topics that spammers feasted on the past month namely:

•   Mortgage Strategies due to recesion
•   Conflicker pending attack on April Fool's Day
•   Wrong information on the Tax Deadline

and then read Symantec's report on Spam for April 2009 attached herewith.
This report would be reproduced by Symantec every month so let us check it for info.
