NetApp Monitor Pack

Hi Joseph. Quick Question ... can this be done under version 6.5? Been reading the other monitoring posts and found that the exchange pack and SQL pack need licences so my thinking is that we can do this within 6.5 without any licence issues.

Not sure it can be done in 6.5.. can you confirm please??

Hi Jon,

Actually this pack was ported from 6.5 to version 7.0 and can be used to Monitor NetApp (i will post the 6.5 version here) it only requires the SMS to have a valid license.  You are correct in mentioning that in version 6.5 the SQL and Exchange require additional licenses though in version 7.0 they are now available as an add-on on top of SMS.

Hi, within the Netapp monitor is there a monitor for the following?

• De-duplication monitor
• Space availability on LUN's, Aggregates and volumes
• Snapshot creation
