If you accidentally deleted or is missing for a virus the Show Desktop icon from quick launch toolbar in Windows XP , just follow the easy procedure described below. The restorations is not so intuitive , in fact needs some manual actions on your OS, but in few time you will have the icon in the quick lanch toolbar. Procedure : 1) Download the Show_Desktop.zip and unzip the archive
2) Locate the Quick Launcer folder: %userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch 3) Move the Show Desktop.scf file to the Quick Launch folder. Just for your info, the scf file contents: [Shell] Command=2 IconFile=explorer.exe,3 [Taskbar] Command=ToggleDesktop Please note, this procedure is valid only for Microsoft Windows XP.
