Have you ever wanted to have the ability to simply double click an SVS archive file and have it import and activate itself? Or the ability to right click on an archive file and have a list of options for what you'd like to do with the file. Well, now you can!
With the new SVS Drag and Drop Importer tool, you can right click, drag and drop to a desktop icon, or double click an archive file to import it. The installer registers the .vsa file type in the registry so that it will be launched no matter where the archive is accessed from: Explorer, a command prompt, or over the network!
The default behavior of the tool will import the layer, set it to auto-start and activate it. There is an additional right click option to simply import the layer. The tool senses if the layer is already in the SVS system and will prompt you to overwrite it, so you don't have to worry about accidentally re-importing layers.
To get started download and unzip the tool and run install.cmd.
