Translation: SVS Admin in Dutch
Updated: 29 Jul 2010 | 7 comments
This is for all the Dutch users of the SVS Admin Console.
In the attached zip file there is a directory called 1043 which contains:
FslUI_resources.dll
SVSAdmin_resources.dll
Copy the complete directory with both DLL's to the %Program Files%\Altiris\Software Virtualization Agent\ directory.
Ensure that your regional settings are set for Dutch and you are using this excellent software in Dutch.
This is only possible because Altiris was kind enough to make it possible to detect languages within the SVS Admin console. Do not thank me, but thank them!

Altiris Adding Languages to SVS 2.1
Before you guys expend too much effort...
Altiris recognizes the very significant interest in SVS in the Netherlands, and the contributions to the SVS community by people such as yourselves, www.svsdownloads.nl and Scense. So we are adding Dutch to SVS 2.1. Beta 2 should include the localization (you probably saw that Beta 1 is English-only).

Dutch language
When you go to C:\Program Files\Altiris\Software Virtualization Agent\1033, yoyu will find a file called SVSAdmin_resources.dll.
Open the file in for istance PEexplorer, and you can change the language that is beeing used.
This works for computers installed in Dutch or English

But...
Keep in mind that these translations only work on SVS2.0.
It will not work on the SVS 2.1 version or higher.
I would recommend ResHacker as it is Freeware.
But ALL the changes you make and the results it causes are NOT supported by Altiris.
Kind Regards, Starf0x

Not supported
Definitely Altiris is not supporting files that have been altered.
This way of altering files can indeed cause strange things, not working SVS, or whatever.
Please be careful using these tools.
