Thunder-man has spun another tool to help make life easier in the Software Virtualization trenches. This tool gives you quick and easy access to some of Trinket's configuration options. [Updated allow import and export of settings. Nice if you administer a number of PCs.]

The Software Virtualization Trinket allows users to activate, deactivate, or import new applications via the system tray. (And a lot more).

"Trinket-Flags" customizes the display of Trinket menu options:

You can set:

  • Activate layer
  • Deactivate layer
  • Reset layer
  • Delete layer
  • Active on Start
  • Exit
  • Admin
  • Import
  • Deactivate All
  • Activate Active On Start

You must restart Trinket for the options to take effect.

For more information on Trinket (and its configuration options) read this article: http://www.symantec.com/connect/node/156

Have fun

Essential Trinket Add-On!

An essential add-on for an essential tool.

I really think you should submit this to the Trinket project on SourceForge; it should just be part of the regular Trinket download.

Thanks!!!

Trinket Add-On!

Thank you Scott,
but I write my tools, nevertheless, with Autoit.

I do not know at all whether somebody wants to have thus on SourceForge.

And I also do not know a lot about the GPL.

Frank

sourceforge

Frank,

Just take a look at sourceforge.org.
They have some good support for open license software. I use sourceforge a lot for another tool that stole my heart. I use Joomla a lot and the greatest tools of Joomla are on sourceforge.

Erik
