Using a Conditional Branch According to Parent Folder in Script.

Here's a scripting trick. Script conditions are very useful to allow scripts to branch according to different attributes of the job or system. But what if you could branch according to which folder the job is currently in? This adds some new possibilities to how you can control scripts easily, just by moving them to a different folder.

I have included a bin file made in DS 6.9 with an example.

Enjoy!

You won't find that in the documentation

I didn't know you could put user-defined tockens in the table "User Defined Token" in the column "Token". That's a nifty catch, although, confusing. And allows for very dynamic conditioning.

Thanks,
