The Veritas Installation Assessment Service (VIAS) is a centralized web-based tool that lets you verify whether the systems in your environment meet the requirements to install or upgrade the Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability family of products by Symantec. By inputting or uploading environmental parameters, a summary view is provided which details hardware and software compatibility, including operating system, patches, and firmware required.

VIAS on Windows host

is it possible to generate the VIAS report (PDF) on windows host?

VIAS Reports
Currently you have to log into the VIAS Service to save the report in PDF format. Once logged in click on MyVias and then the report that you want to export. You can then export it in Text, Excel or PDF.
