    Altiris Mgmt console doesn't open even when Symantec Mgmt Agent & other Altiris services are running.  Every time I open I get the following error Service Unavailable HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable. Please help ASAP

    I have a handful of users that are saying that everytime they go to the software portal they have to re-input their email address.  Is there something that is causing this?  I didnt see anything pop in log viewer the last time they visited the software portal.  Any where I should start looking in particular?

    You can also use the RAADv2 tool to look at systems individually and check the tasks at the agent while its running.

    A couple of years ago when I called support with help for this I was given scripts with an explanation starting "Since the TECH159959 is not validated with the SMP 7.0 MR4, the following manual steps are recommended for the clean-up." Perhaps they've found those scripts don't work.

    It's something like: AeXAuditpls.exe /I InvSoftwareScan.xml /xmlcomments FileScan /DetailedNSE /nods /CPU /Visible true Not sure if the Visible parameter is correct, it only shows an icon on the taskbar anyway.
