The Client Decided to reject the upgrade package

Hello All

i am facing a new deployment message/status while upgrading the Client from SAV10 to SEP12

"The Client Decided to reject the upgrade package ,Client has ignored upgrade package ,version 12.1.1101.401"

Can any one help me if they had the same issue and got a resolution ?

can some one help me out from this ?

Post the SEP_INST.log file for review

Should be located in %temp%

As Brain mentioned above we need the SEP_inst.log to look for the issue, but there is no need to copy the entire log.

In the log search for "RETURN VALUE 3" copy and past 8-10 before that

We may have more than one instance so we need all of them

What version of OS is installed where you are trying to Install the SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1?

What version of OS is the SEPM installed on?

How are you deploying the package?

Where do you see this message? Could you please provide us a Screenshot?

Could you also upload us the SEP_Inst.log from the client machine under %temp%?

Can you confirm by looking on this particular computer that the package was actually rejected?

Is this computer perhaps 32-bit and was mistakenly sent a 64-bit package? Or an OS that is not supported with 12.1, Windows 2000?
